Denfind Stone supplies a comprehensive range of British sandstone for building and cladding. Our sized sandstone is cut using a mechanical guillotine which makes it easy for stone masons to work with whilst retaining a quality random look.

Supplied in manageable half tonne bags, our natural sandstone can be used for new builds, extensions, restorations and conversions. We supply a range of stone colours (and colour combinations). Click on the stone sample panels to the left for more information on our range.

We can supply stone in a split face, pitched face and ashlar finish. If you are looking for a specific stone or colour that is not listed on this page we can source this for you. Please contact us to discuss this further.

Guillotined Stone for Building

• We recommend building the stone onto a breeze block skin or SureCav system. If it is necessary to build onto cavity, then we would recommend using minimum 140mm, preferably 180mm.
• Use 2-3 bags at any given time to ensure mix of stone.
• Always use lime mortar mix of 1:1:6 or 1:2:9 (Lime : Cement : Sharp Sand).
• Always build with the stone on the bed.
