Training

Dry stone dyking coursesWe offer dry stone dyking courses specificially tailored towards beginners and improvers as well as professional dykers.  The training courses are held in our own training area at Denfind Farm and are informal and friendly - ideal for landscape gardeners, designers, dykers looking to improve their skills and people who may have never dyked before but are interested in doing their own home projects.

One of the key learning points is that the course is being taught with new stone as opposed to stone from old dykes, this enables the trainees to learn the skills necessary to achieve the best results using all types of stone for dyking.

The training is delivered by our stone manager Dave Sinclair, Master Craftsman Dry Stone Dyker who has worked and taught throughout the UK and Canada.
